you want a lower price for sync and more jobs (Pro is US$7 a month);
you search on Australian sites like SEEK and want your synced data kept in Australia.

Questions

Is Rolestash a good Huntr alternative?

If you mainly use Huntr to save jobs and track applications, and you'd like a tracker that collects less about you and uses no AI, yes. If you rely on Huntr's AI resume and cover letter tools, Rolestash doesn't have them.

Does Rolestash read my browsing history?

No. It reads a job posting only when you click the Rolestash icon or press Alt+J on it, and it doesn't collect web history or user activity.

Is Rolestash free?

Yes, for up to 30 active jobs, with no account. Pro is US$7 a month and Advanced US$15 a month; see the pricing page for prices in your currency.
