No. Rolestash reads the posting you have open in Chrome. It never signs in anywhere for you.

Does Rolestash read job sites in the background?

No. It reads a page only when you click the Rolestash icon or press Alt+J on it.

What happens on a site that isn't listed?

Rolestash reads the job details the page publishes for search engines, which most careers pages do. If there are none, it makes a best guess and marks anything uncertain so you can check it before saving.

Found the same job on two sites?

It stays one card. Rolestash matches duplicates across sites, so a role you saw on a job board and again on the company's careers page isn't counted twice.
